Our current stars of the show ring

ROSIE

Sno-Magic’s Pants on Fire (Rosie)
GCH Bralin’s Jack Be Nimble SD x GCH Indigo’s Identity Crisis

Rosie is our newest addition.  She has developed quite a fan club in limited showing.  She has been awarded Best of Opposite Sex in Puppy Sweeps both at the SHC of Metro Dallas Specialty (March, 2016) under Tedi Devlin and at the Rocky Mountain SHC Specialty (April, 2016) under Anne Palmer.  She has also been awarded Reserve Winners Bitch from Puppy classes at the SHC of Metro Dallas (March, 2016) under Breeder Judge Sandy Weaver and at the Rocky Mountain SHC (April, 2016) under Breeder Judge Marie Falconer, and from the 12-18 month classes both days at the SHC of Greater Chicago (October, 2016) under Breeder Judges Marie Falconer and Julia Rylander!  She is off to a great start!

Wyatt
Wyatt goes Best of Breed at the Siberian Husky Club of Metropolitan Dallas Specialty on March 15, 2015!

GCH Sno-Magic's Gunslinger, CGC, BN, RE, CD
CH Sno-Magic’s Smokin’ Gun, SD x Ch. Indigo's Speak No Ivil

Wyatt is now a champion!   He finished with five majors and four major reserves (three of which were at Specialties!).  At the recent Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club Specialty Wyatt went High in Trial on Friday (April 27, 2012), and then went Reserve Winners Dog, Best in Bred By Classes, and Best Sled Dog on Saturday (April 28, 2012).  Thanks to the following judges who made this possible:  Delbert Thacker (who started him off with 3 points); Nancy Russell (3 points); Jean Fournier (3 points); Stephanie Hamblin Barnhill (4 points); and Mrs. Robert D. (Polly) Smith (3 points).  Under all these judges he not only got Winners Dog, but also Best of Winners.   Also thanks to those judges who awarded him Specialty major reserves:   Delbert Thacker (SHC Metro Dallas); Olivia Harvey (SHC Greater Chicago); Ann Cook (Rocky Mountain SHC).

Ida
News Flash – Ida is awarded Select Bitch at the Siberian Husky Club of America National Specialty in San Diego, California on November 1, 2014!

CH Indigo's Identity Crisis
CH Sno-Magic’s Smokin’ Gun, SD x Ch. Indigo's Speak No Ivil
Co-Owners/Co-Breeders:  David K Qualls DVM and Sheila Qualls and Mike and Susan Lavin

We are so excited that Ida has come back to Colorado to live with us after David and Sheila Qualls (Indigo) retired.   A lovely bitch with AMAZING movement, Ida finished by going Winners Bitch at the Siberian Husky Club of Greater Chicago Specialty.  She followed that with a Best of Breed win at the Siberian Husky Club of Metropolitan Dallas Specialty in March 2013.  She also was awarded Select Bitch at the SHC Metro Dallas Specialty in 2014.    She has become a great asset to us on our sled dog team and she has shown lead potential this past year, leading our team in most of the races.  Look for her both in the ring and on the trail in the upcoming years.

Drifter

CH Sno-Magic’s End of the Trail RN
GCH Sno-Magic’s Gunslinger CGC, BN, RE, CD x CH Sno-Magic’s Northern Serenade SD

Drifter is our newest champion after finishing at the Rocky Mountain SHC Specialty in April, 2016 under Breeder Judge Delbert Thacker.  He was also  awarded Winners Dog in both March 2014 and 2015 at the SHC Metro Dallas Specialty.   On our sled team Drifter is turning out to be our main leader!  He shows great passion for running and is just a cuddlebug in the house!

Spicy

CH Khovaki’s Red, Hot ‘n Spicy

Spicy shown going Winners Bitch/BOW at the Scottsbluff Kennel Club show 4/3/2011.  Spicy picked up her first major 10/1/2011 at the Wichita Kennel Club show under Houston Clark.  Thanks to Joni and Harold Barnhardt (Khovaki) for sharing this cutie with us!  Co-owned with Cheri Cubbison (Iceberg Siberians) and Joni Barnhardt.

Dillon

CH Sno-Magic’s Smokin’ Gun SD
Montana of Copper Creek, SD x Khovaki’s Sno-Magic Firefly

WD at the SHC of Greater Dallas (April, 2006) under breeder judge Michael Jennings (3 points).
WD/BOW at the Hutchinson Kansas KC (September, 2007) under breeder judge Danny Brand (4 points).
WD/BOW at the Plum Creek KC (February, 2009) under breeder judge Angela Porpora (2 points).
WD at the SHC of Greater Phoenix (April, 2009) under breeder judge Janis Church Stadler (4 points).
WD/BOW/BOS at the West Central Oklahoma KC (August, 2009) under breeder judge Angela Porpora (2 points).

Dillon is very special indeed.  He is a wolf grey, totally dark faced dog, which is VERY unusual in the show ring.  His coloration and markings hearken back to some of the original imports from Siberian, most famously Togo (owned by Leonard Seppala and was credited with being the most important dog in the Nome Serum Run).

Dillon is an OUTSTANDING sled dog, a delightful personality around the house, extremely outgoing and friendly, and very gentlemanly!  His offspring represent many of the current dark faced dogs being shown around the country.

Seeley

Sno-Magic’s Devil in a Black Dress CGC, RN
Montana of Copper Creek x Khovaki’s Sno-Magic Firefly

When Susan retired from work, she vowed to get back into the obedience ring.  Sweet Seeley was just the dog for that purpose.  With limited training, Seeley attained her Rally Novice degree in just three trials, with scores of  94/95/97.  She was awarded the Siberian Husky Club of America’s Top Rally Novice Award for 2008.  Seeley is now being trained for Rally Advanced and Novice Obedience.  Seeley also runs lead on one of our sled dog teams.

Callie

Sno-Magic's Black Caldron
CH Sno-Magic's Red Woof x Khovaki's Sno-Magic Firefly
Shown taking Reserve Winners Bitch (from the 6-9 Puppy Bitch Class) at the SHC of Greater Phoenix Specialty (January 2002).

Callie is a very sweet gal with great movement who quit her show career (which she was never very fond of anyway) to be a brood bitch.  Callie was bred twice to Sno-Magic’s Smokin’ Gun SD to produce many of our current sled/show dogs.
